Nanoparticle Superstructure Assembly, Dynamics, and Properties; Porous Materials
We develop synthetic methods for designing and constructing 1) nanoparticle superstructures and 2) porous materials. In particular, we examine the roles that biomolecules can play in directing the structure and function of these materials. Ultimately, we aim to 1) develop conceptual frameworks for designing these materials, 2) establish structure-property relationships for these materials, and 3) explore the potenial biomedical and clean energy applications of these materials.
