Development of targeted bimodal molecular imaging probes

We are interested in development, characterization and in vivo imaging of targeted bimodal MR-optical nanoparticles. Fusing optical and MR imaging will combine the advantages of each imaging modality to improve diagnostic accuracy and better characterize disease processes. Such bimodal nanoparticles can be potentially used in early diagnosis of diseases, therapeutic effect monitoring and prognosis.
